Kindergarten Begins

The first day of Kindergarten was one of mixed emotions. Thomas couldn't wait to get there (although he didn't know at the time that this was the beginning of at least 13 plus years of school!) and mum just wanted to break down and cry. Spenser's teasing didn't help a whole lot with that either. Olivia wanted to stay with Thomas and when we asked her where Thomas was later in the day she said that he was at the office. We certainly hoped that wasn't the case!

Ryan our next door neighbor also started in full day which has been great for Thomas. He loves having a friend in class and being able to ride home on the bus with someone.

Ready to leave the girls at home

The last few weeks of school have had their good and bad days. Thomas tells us almost every morning that he doesn't want to go to school and so that's why it's Spenser's job to load him into the car each day because mum with her pregnant belly and hormones just means too many tears and emotion! We just hope that things will get better and are comforted by the fact that he loves his teacher Ms. Nolan and he always tells Nadia that he had a fun day when he gets off the bus each night.
