Camping and Exploring

We hit our usual camping haunt this month. We asked around and all of our friends were busy. The kids were kind of bummed that they would have to hang out together, but we still had a good time.

Eating smores is always a must

This dirty baby was the reason behind my unpleasant mood the next morning. He moved around all night and kept crawling out of his sleeping bag. I thought that the night was kind of chilly and so I was worried that he would get cold so I spent what should have been sleeping hours wrapping him back in his sleeping bag and stopping him from falling off of the air mattress.

Waiting to ride horses

Excited for his first ride

He loved it and was sad when he had to get off

Sam was excited to have a go

He thought that it was pretty fun

We also visited another of our favorite summer spots - Port Townsend and Fort Warden State Park.

Exploring

The climbing part always makes me nervous

Sam is always such a good boy in his backpack

Using the headlamp to check things out

Heading down to the beach

Sam thought the water was pretty interesting

Thomas thought the water was pretty cold

As always after packing up we enjoyed dinner and ice cream in town
