We were all excited and ready for a long day of sight seeing. Our hotel was pretty close to the gates of China Town. One of the first things that struck us was the humidity. It was going to take a little getting used to feeling damp all the time.

We weren't sure how totally respectful putting our feet in the pool was, but we weren't the only ones doing it and it felt nice to cool off a little. Sam got to use the change of clothing that we had brought along for the day afterwards. That was more than could be said of the little girl whose dad let her get soaking wet next to us. Mum was less than impressed when she saw what he had let her do!

We spent the afternoon in the Air and Space Museum. This turned out to be a good plan for a couple of reasons. Th first was that the heat and humidity by the afternoon became quite unbearable and it was nice to hang out in an air conditioned building. The second positive was that when the rain poured down because of said humidity we were already safe inside the museum.
