After a morning of swimming lessons and an afternoon of playing with friends, we decided to head out to the drive in to watch the Avengers. There was a pretty big line when we arrived so we weren't sure if we would make it in. We did and the kids had fun playing around in the cars before the show started. We took both cars incase someone had to leave part way with Sam. I sat with Zach and Thomas. Zach made it until he had eaten his popcorn and candy and Thomas didn't make it much longer.

When I headed over to the other car at the end of the movie I found everyone asleep in there. Obviously we'll have to rent the movie when it comes out on DVD! Sam had apparently been quite fussy, but Spense had stuck it out alone. Clearly the whole thing had exhausted him though. We headed home just after midnight with everyone sleeping soundly in the back.

How funny...I was just thinking today that we need to check out the drive-in in Shelton. My kids have never been to a drive-in movie! Hopefully sometime this summer......
