The kids decided to forgo an Easter Egg Hunt this year since it was blowing sheets of rain when it came time to leave. It was probably a good thing since Sam and Olivia both had croup. We decided to spend some time decorating eggs instead, which Zach really got into.
Showing off his hard work
On Easter Sunday there was no dressing up in a pretty Easter dress for Olivia since she and Sam stayed home so that they didn't spread their illness around. It was a good chance for the rest of us to be reminded of all that we have because Jesus suffered, died, and was resurrected. Because of Him we can have hope, we can have healing, and we can have second chances.
After church the kids were ready to go and find Easter
eggs in the garden.
