Not again

I am honestly starting to believe that there is some evil force trying to destroy my son's good looks. The phone rang yesterday and I saw that it was the school. When I asked the person at the other end said, "Hi, this is Nikki Fry, the health care assistant..." I immediately knew that Thomas had fallen in the rain at recess and bumped his head, and as she talked some more I was right! Olivia, Zach, and I quickly got into the car and went over to see him. He sat there in the sick room with an ice pack on his little head with a good size bump developing. She said that she thought it would be better for him to go home - so that's what we did. He has since had some good bruising and looks a little like a raccoon. I can't wait to see what happens next time!

Oh no! You poor boy! I am so sorry! I think you need to wrap him in protective padding before you send him out of the house... either that or not let him out! I hope you are ok Thomas. It looks like that really hurt. You are so brave.

The poor kid...I don't miss those phone calls from Nikki Fry, health assistant at Michael T. I haven't received any calls yet this year from the nurse (knock on wood). They seem to go in spurts.
