Spense and I spent a lot of time last night filling and hiding eggs for the easter bunny. Unlike santa, he just doesn't have time to do it all. Thomas of course had run around upstairs and found everyone's basket before he was supposed to come out of his bedroom, but at least he was able to help out on the basket hunt! We actually had to wake Zach up so that we could go downstairs to find eggs because the other two kids were getting a little impatient. I was just glad that I had decided that it wouldn't be wise to try and do an outside hunt (although it would make a nice change) because it was raining rather hard.
The kids had fun finding all the eggs. I think that we got all of them. I guess that we'll just have to see what turns up over the next little while when I do the cleaning! Zach thought that it was a whole lot of fun. I think that his experience yesterday had really helped him to figure out what this easter egg hunting is all about.
Olivia was thrilled with the Kit Kat egg
that grandma Elaine sent back with us
Thomas managed to find his basket in the tub
Thomas' basket. I got the kids some gardening stuff
so they could help me out in the garden. Olivia loved it
but I'm not sure that Thomas thought it was so cool!
Olivia's basket minus the Ruby that she didn't put down
Olivia found a couple
Zach was happy
