Mesquite Groves Pool

After going all week we decided to take things a little easy today. We started the morning off at the park playing a little bit of soccer.

We met Grandma for lunch and then headed back to the house to get together our swim stuff. We got out later than we hoped (I don't know why that ever surprises me because that's always the case) but we finally made it to Mesquite Groves pool. I had seen the pool on a couple of facebook posts and I thought it would be fun to check out. They had a lap pool, lazy river, vortex, slide, and a few other play structures. All of us got in for $7.50. The gas out there definitely cost us more than that. I only wish that we had places like this back in Washington, but since you would only be able to use it for 2 months of the year I understand why its not worth it.

The temperature quickly dropped into the mid 70's and it was a little cool, but the kids stuck it out and had a good time.

Sam loves the water

His extra rolls helped to keep him warm!

Zach and Thomas had fun horsing around

Zach was dragging Thomas everywhere
