Sunday Walk

After church  today, we decided to drive out to Bradgate Park since it was a nice afternoon. Bradgate Park is a huge county park which covers 840 acres. The park is home to the ruins of Bradgate House, the ancestral home of Lady Jane Grey who was the Queen of England for 9 short days before she was overthrown by Mary I. The kids thought that it was great fun to run along with Chester, but the park is also home to lots of deer who poop everywhere. Thomas thought that this was quite disgusting and had to be carried on several occasions so he didn't have to tread in it.

After our walk we headed out to Dan and Debbie's and enjoyed a delicious roast dinner with them. The kids had fun playing on their trampoline and watching Annie, while we enjoyed just being able to catch up. It was fun to see their home and all the work that Dan is doing on it. Debs, you are a trooper! (Dan keep up the good work).
