Happy Easter

After some abelskivers for breakfast, and some inspiring conference talks, we started our hunt for eggs. The event began indoors, and then when we felt as confident as you can living in these parts that it wasn't going to rain, Spenser dropped a few outside to find.

At first Zach wanted no part in the egg hunt

No real surprise here since most events are met
with resistance and a sour patch face!

Olivia tried to coax Zach outside by showing him the eggs

Making a move

She found something exciting!

Thomas was quite proficient at collecting the eggs

A little team talk before wrapping up

Buzz needed to be nearby at all times

A successful hunt for Olivia

Ta da!

Since Grandma Noelene was here I decided that I would bake a ham this year, since there would be 3 people as opposed to 2 who might actually eat it. I even made rolls for the occasion!

Zach seemed to enjoy the ham. He just kept stuffing and stuffing and I was scared to death that he was going to throw up. He did finally realize that there is only so much that you can put in your mouth and what wouldn't fit ended up in his hand, which I then got to dispose of.

All that rain gives you a very lovely green. Sometimes I wonder if the photos are real...then I remember it isn't AZ and they are!

Every time I read your blog I have to laugh at the funny descriptions of your kids throwing up. You definitely have a way with words. They must do it a lot because you talk about it in many of your blog posts ;) Glad it's not me that has to clean up that mess...
