Christmas Treats

Today was the day to get the Christmas treats finished. I always like to get it done as early as I can since I feel like it is hanging over my head. We decided to try something different this year from the traditional peppermint bark. I found a recipe for some cute reindeer cupcakes, and then we made the old faithful sugar cookies and snickerdoodles. After frosting 4 dozen sugar cookies for Thomas and Olivia's parties at school and then starting on those to distribute, I began to regret our decision. I felt like I was in a cookie making nightmare. Luckily,  Devin and Katrina came down to spend the night and were great helpers. Devin became quite skilled at cutting pretzels for reindeer antlers!
