Pumpkin Picking

We decided to go out to the pumpkin patch after the kids came home from school today. The weather was fairly warm and dry and we thought that Grandma Noelene might enjoy looking at something other than the inside of our house.

The kids enjoyed all of the fun activities at Schilters

Dad always likes a bit of rubber duck racing!

Sam was very well behaved for his first trip out

Pumpkin bowling

Spense was on pin duty

After some playing we headed out to the patch

It didn't take everyone too long to find what they were looking for

They added a new play set which the kids enjoyed

Everyone minus Sam who was happy sleeping

Hay jumping was probably everyones favorite activity. Zach was in heaven. Lots of jumping off tall platforms and making a mess. There aren't too many things that boy loves better.

Of course we had to have the yearly photo in front of the pumpkin to see how much everyone had grown.

Your kids all look like they LIKE each other so much! I don't think we ever made it to that farm in WA, but I might not remember... Look like a lot of fun! Glad you made it out. Being tied down with a new baby has a tendency to give one cabin fever.
