Love is in the Air

Valentine's Day began with heart pancakes for breakfast. Since dad has to be at work at 7 am he missed out (obviously he's not loved enough!), but Thomas and Olivia enjoyed them at separate sittings. Dad apparently loves us more than we love him and had made us all Valentine's and left hearts all over the kitchen table for us.

In the afternoon we went over to the Johnson's house where Olivia enjoyed a little Valentine's party. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to recharge the camera so pictures of the love fest are limited!

The evening ended in it's usual way with dinner from KFC. This has been a tradition in our family since Spense and I were dating. Our first Valentine's Day together I had a math test up in Salt Lake and got back to Provo too late to be able to go out to dinner anywhere, and so we just kind of ended up at KFC. The year after that, when we were married, it was Spenser's turn to have a chemistry test (you would think that the teachers would have some compassion on us) and so he got KFC when he got home around 9pm. Since the first two years worked out so great we have decided to keep it up.
