After a shaky start to Kindergarten Thomas has decided that school really isn't all that bad. He managed to make it to the 100 day celebration at school and when I spoke with Ms. Nolan about it she said that he had come to her in the middle of the day to tell her that it was "the best day ever!"
Ms. Nolan also reported that Thomas has really taken off with his reading. He moved up 4 reading groups last week and finally managed to remember the 40 sight words that we had been asked to learn at home. I am especially happy about this because I know how desperately he wants to be able to read and how much it worries him that he can't. Keep it up Thomas!

Yay, Thomas! I can't believe that he's already in kindergarten. I still have another year-and-a-half before Addie will start, and I am already terrified! Keep working hard and it will definitely come.

Reading is so difficult at that age, but I am proud of him for wanting to. I am so happy for all of you that he is enjoying school and doing so well!
