Spense had stayed in
Instead of being able to get out and enjoy what ended up being a great day, we had to spend the next hour running down to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription for dad since he was having some problems with his implant site and had a rather swollen face from what looked like an infection. Hopefully one day Spenser will have taken care of all his dental needs! After chasing down some antibiotics and Spense calling every dentist in town to see if he could use their office to take off dad's healing cap we walked around the town.

The weather was great. We got to see them pulling and packaging taffy in one of the local candy stores and we spent some time looking around the many art galleries. Thomas and Olivia weren't too much into that, but they thought that the water fountain in the plaza was pretty cool to play with!
After a nice lunch we walked down to Haystack Rock, where the kids played in the sand, but we didn't brave the water. Thomas sound every boys delight ( a stick) and dug around with that for a while. We then made a slow walk back to our lodgings at the other end of the beach, it was slow because of course we had to stop to pick up every shell and rock, and also because strollers and sand don't often make for an easy time!

develop hips at some point to keep her pants up.
The rest of the evening was spent lazing around. The kids had fun sitting out on the balcony eating candy and standing on the chair in the living room looking at themselves in the mirror!
