Thomas' teacher Mrs Stone had organized a movie night for her class this evening. She had put together a cute DVD of video and photos from the year for the kids to enjoy. After dinner we went off to school for the premier. It was a fun event and it made me really sad and almost weepy (yes, hard for some of you to believe that I do that!) because we have been so fortunate to have had some really great teachers for Thomas so far. Second grade makes me nervous because the teacher is going to have a lot to live up to. Thomas got to give Mrs Stone his gift and then hung out with some of his friends. Now that the year is over he keeps telling me how much he loves school and how sad he is that it's over. We'll see come fall if he's still feeling that way!

I loved Mrs. Stone. We had the movie night last year too with Tessa, and I felt a bit emotional as well, especially since we'd be moving. I'm sure 2nd grade will be just as great though.
