Thomas and Olivia finished soccer camp today. They begged at the beginning of the summer for me to sign them up for the Sounders camp. It was a little more pricey than some of the others around, but they are fans so we let them do it. I think that Zach was a little disappointed on Monday that he wasn't joining them, but he didn't seem to care as the week went on. I think that it would have been a little intense for him.
It was a beautiful week, but at times a little warm to be running around playing soccer. They came home very sweaty and rosy each day and didn't have a whole lot of energy for much else.
We showed up this morning to see what they had been doing all week. Spenser was more than a little frustrated at Olivia's lack luster attitude. She wasn't hustling after the ball at all and just looked exhausted. She said that she had been calling for it, but no one wanted to pass to her. We tried to explain that you have to look like you'll do something with the ball if they pass it, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.
After I saw this I was worried that she didn't have a good time all week, but she said that she did.
Thomas on the other hand got in on the plays. He was happy to have a boy from his Black Hills group with him too.
Ready to leave at the end of the week!
Zach of course had to get a picture with his Thomas
