Ensign Camping

This morning we drove up to Ensign Ranch for a short camping trip with friends from church. Everyone else had all driven up the night before, but we decided to go up today since we wouldn't have arrived until pretty late last night. Putting up a tent in the dark is never fun, and I liked the idea of only having to miss a shower for one day too!

After pitching the tent we headed on down to the slip and slide with everyone else. We hung out down there for most of the day with a short break back at the campsite for lunch. The weather was nice and warm and everyone enjoyed forming long chains down the slide.

Fun with friends

Olivia was up and down all day long

Zach hardly gave Spenser a break. As soon as they came down he was dragging him back up for his next turn. He didn't care too much to go with me which made me happy since dad is usually not the number 1 choice. He did finally manage to sit down and soak up the sun.

Thomas did a lot of running around. He got wiped out a
couple of times which made him pretty cautious.

Happiness

Waiting for dinner

We were all pretty tired and hungry once we got back. We enjoyed a delicious and nutritious dinner of hot dogs and smores. There was then a baseball game followed by campfire chatter. You can't get better than that.

Geez, you always make me miss Washington! It sure is beautiful there and there is so much fun to be had! I can't believe how big your kiddos are getting...ugh! Z was a little peanut in your tummy back then!

Me too Holly! Another one of those places we never experienced while we lived there. That slip and slide looks like so much fun!
