Today we got to celebrate the fab dad in our lives. I got up a little extra early to make cinnamon stuffed french toast, which only I and Spenser ended up eating, but it's the thought that counts! We then quickly opened gifts and headed off to church.

Zach was excited to help Spenser open his birthday present!
I was proud that little Zachie when he headed up to the stand with Thomas to sing. The primary president then tried to pick him up and move him next to Olivia which didn't work out too well. Zach doesn't like to be handled a whole lot and so he then spent the entire time with his head nestled into Thomas who stroked and patted his head. They were pretty cute.

We also let Liv join in on this blurry picture
After lunch we skyped with my family who were all over at Hayley's. I was proud that she had put a meal together in my absence! The kids always enjoy seeing themselves on the webcam and kept everyone entertained. I am super grateful for my own dad. He truly amazes me with his kindness and wisdom and I know that he was handpicked just for me.

(Thomas couldn't believe how much hair he had!)
After letting Spenser sleep for a little while we headed off on a little walk. Thomas truly hates having to go on Sunday walks, but whenever the weather is good enough to get outside that's where I make them go! The climb was pretty steep in places and that made those with big bellies struggle a little bit. When we came home we got to enjoy some tasty greek 'tacos' followed by a chocolate peanut butter pie.
Thanks Spense for being so super. We really do love you a lot and appreciate all that you do for us. I am so grateful that you are always so willing to help out and like you always tell me, "You're not as bad as I make you out to be!"
