The first few days of summer have been spent outside running through the slip and slide and hoping in and out of the pool. It looks like our beautiful Washington summer weather has finally arrived! It seems that Thomas has finally got over his dread of summer vacation and is really quite enjoying being able to lounge around a little more. I do wish that he would sleep in a little later though. It seems like he wakes up earlier now than when he was in school, which is to be expected I guess. My favorite thing is that at the end of each day as we sit down at bedtime to read he will lament about how many days of vacation he has left. Wait until you start work Thomas!
Our neighbors have a really fun double slide and so the kids went over there to play since they thought that it was cooler than our slip and slide. Olivia makes me laugh as she flies around the corner on that thing since she's so tiny.
