Thomas and Olivia started T Ball this week. Although Thomas has now experienced a whole season of coach pitch baseball he decided that he wanted to make the most of still being 5 by playing with Olivia on the 3-5 year old team. I actually think that he loves it because he's the oldest and the fastest player on the team and he really knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, he still is far from the tallest child! He does, however, get a little frustrated when the other kids don't really know what they're doing, but we have to remind him that they're just learning still.
Olivia has done much better than I anticipated. She told the coach her name and actually looked at him and although she prefers to be in a group with Thomas she is fine hanging out in catching practice while Thomas goes over to hit. She loves her new shoes and is particularly fond of her YMCA top and now loves the number 10. The highlight of the evening though has to be getting snacks at the end of practice.

Nice to see what you've been up to and that the weather is cooperating. Congrats to Thomas! Zach is sure growing too. David is jealous of his teeth.
Why is Olivia the only girl in the group? Or does she just prefer to be with the boys? Poor girl! Fancy trainers - they make it worth going to T-Ball don't they Liv?! xx
