This morning we all headed off to Ensign Ranch to finish what we had started on Saturday afternoon. Family T-shirts were distributed this morning (after I almost left them at home) and we all set off in matching attire. We looked like such a grand family!

Waiting for a horse ride
We put the riding helmet on because we thought that he would look cute, but we really started something because then he wanted to get on the horse.
With a bit of help from Grandpa and Dad
Zach had fun on the horse
He was really quite the cowboy and screamed
when we made him get off

He was quite the pro
As the riders returned we got changed and headed over to the Slip and Slide. Clay and Jorden had already been there for an hour or so and so we just added to their fun. It was fun to sit and watch everyone. The big boys of the group had fun forming a huge chain and sliding down one after the other. I wish I had video documenting the sheer terror in Thomas' face as he was flung down that slide after those more muscular men! It was fun and I am sure glad that it didn't end in tears for anyone!

Of course there were popsicles
Some of the group drove up to Leavenworth in the afternoon, while the rest of us hung out and either slept or played in the hot tub. We turned the water down so that it didn't fry the kids and they had fun swimming in there for a while. It was then time to help with dinner and then Deidre cooked up some brownies and cookies for us all to enjoy for dessert. I sure feel like i have gained a pound or two during these past few days.
The kids spent some time doing a small craft. Amy had bought some picture frames so that they could frame a picture from the trip and then they decorated them. Olivia loved sticking on all of the princess stickers that she could. Thomas, who isn't a big craft person, actually surprised me in how long he sat at the table and he did a good job.

It had been a pretty hot day and by the end of it we definitely had a few people that were burned. Poor Jorden was in pretty bad shape. She had a bright red line right down the front of her leg where she had missed a spot, and Clay didn't look so great either. There was quite a bit of aloe vera application going on and peeling will definitely follow (it made me feel like I was on vacation with the Rasmussen family!) Most people were pretty tired from the long week of traveling and tripping so we all sat around for the remainder of the evening and started to pack for departure tomorrow.
