Some friends in our ward asked us to come over this evening to decorate gingerbread houses with them. The kids had a lot of fun and Olivia really got into it. Zach thought that it was interesting for a short time, but he was really just ready to go to bed. Most of the kids actually enjoyed eating the candy more than anything else and I think that more of it ended up in their stomachs than on the actual houses.
Zach just wanted to eat the whole thing!

that looks like so much fun- I wanted to do that this year- but the gingerbread kits they were selling were really expensive! And I am not talented enough to make it! Also- if it makes you feel better, we would have definately let the kids play out in the snow on a Sunday too- as long as everyone's together as a family, that's the most important thing.
it seems our grand children have all the hallmarks of being architects, what a brilliant effort for a child that had no support from her mum at home in this regard, well done Nadia.
