After some dress up at work, Spenser drove up to Seattle to see the Sounders in their MLS playoff game. I was left at home and got to take the kids to the school harvest festival. I asked Thomas a couple of times if he would just rather stay home, but he insisted that we make a showing. Thomas went as Superman since he was worried that the kids would make fun of him as Peter Pan, so Olivia insisted that she went as Ariel. I didn't even bother to dress up poor Zach which probably wasn't such a bad idea since it was a pretty cold night and we spent a bit of time outside playing games.

As usual the evening was a little anti-climatical and Thomas complained that he was bored, just like he has every year. Ryan our neighbor did manage to win the funniest costume award though which bought a little excitement to the evening for his Ostrich rider costume. I only wish that I had taken a picture.
