Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter we drove down to the high school to take part in our 2nd annual Easter egg hunt. Spenser was unfortunately absent since he had taken the young men on a campout the night before and they weren't home yet. It didn't sound like much of a camp out to me staying in a cabin with a microwave, but what can you say! We were very sad that dad got to miss it though and I was especially sad that the kids didn't get anywhere as many eggs as a lot of the others because they didn't have a parent to help them in the rush since I was carrying Zach and trying to capture the excitement at the same time. Thomas did his best to help though.

As you can see from the background in this picture it's not like you really have to hunt for the eggs when they're right on the field in front of you! Thomas was hilarious and actually would have got quite a few eggs, except he kept running around with his little twinkle toes picking up an egg here and there instead of just staying in one area and getting all the eggs that he could!

Olivia decided that she liked her first year out there so much that she would just join in
Thomas' age group too. Hey, it's Easter!

What fun! Reminds me of the egg hunt in my parents neighborhood on the baseball field. And Olivia's jacket is SO CUTE.
