Sunbathing and New Teeth

Yesterday involved numerous trips to the dental office. I took mum and dad both for cleanings in the morning and then had to take mum back later for a crown prep. Today was dad's big turn. I took him over to Spenser at around 2:00 p.m. and they finally arrived home just before

7:00 p.m. It was definitely a long day for everyone, but both dad and Spenser were pleased with the result. We just hope that the temporaries last until he can get the final crowns seated when he comes back at Christmas.

We had some nice sunshine this morning and so of course mum was out trying to soak up the rays as soon as she could. We had hoped to be able to go over and use the outdoor pool at the Valley after we dropped dad off, but were disappointed to find that it had closed. Luckily, Johanna came up with a back up plan and Jennifer in our ward was sweet enough to let us go over and use their apartments outdoor pool. They had turned the heat off (and you could definitely tell) but the kids still had a great time. The adults in the group, however, only made it as far as the hot tub!
