At the end of the day...

Today Spenser left for a weekend trip in Southern Utah with his brothers. I was a little bummed (to say the least) since it meant yet ANOTHER weekend home alone. I am willing to admit that it was with some resentment that I dropped him off at the airport tonight.

On the positive side the kids were great tonight. They didn't complain about having to take a bath before bed and they all went down pretty quickly, giving me some time to get the clean up finished. I let Thomas and Zach fall asleep in my bed together and when I walked in this is what I found. I guess I need to take more time to appreciate the small and simple things in life.
