Grandpa Comes to Town

Last night Grandpa Kent came into town so that he could go to the BYU vs. Washington game with Spense and Thomas and a vast array of other BYU fans from down here. Today after he helped Spense with yard work, we took him down to the farmers market for a quick look around and some lunch to say thanks! Olivia got herself a gingerbread girl and was very excited to pose with it for the camera!

After we picked Thomas up from school we went down to the falls and had a walk around since grandpa had never been down there before. We hoped that we might see some salmon jumping, but they weren't really doing too much yet, although at least there were a few in the tank already on this trip.

Grandpa Kent hates having pictures taken so we were grateful at how much he indulged us. We came home and had pizza, and played outside so that Thomas could show grandpa how well he could ride his bike. Spense and Kent then went down to the auto mall to see if they could test drive some cars. The auto mall was closed, but I guess that they got talking to some salesman down there. Spenser said that they were speaking a whole different language that he just couldn't understand. It was then off to bed so that everyone could be well rested for the big game tomorrow.

How did you get so many pictures of Kent!? Sounds like it was a fun weekend.
